Posted on December 24, 2012
On Sunday, Dec. 23, Hikianalia sailed offshore into Māmala Bay to honor the late Senator Daniel K. Inouye (1924-2012) while the nation’s leaders paid tribute to him at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl, onshore overlooking Honolulu and the bay. The Senator passed away on Dec. 17, at age 88.
